Job description:

We are seeking a Mid–Senior DevOps Engineer to design, automate, and maintain a secure, scalable, and observable platform ecosystem built on OpenShift. You will manage CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and platform reliability for a cloud-native environment supporting mission-critical workloads.

Requirements:

Required Skills & Experience

  • 4–8 years in DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering roles.
  • Hands-on experience with OpenShift/Kubernetes (deployment, scaling, monitoring, troubleshooting).
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Tekton).
  • Strong IaC skills (Terraform, Ansible, Helm).
  • Familiarity with databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, MinIO, Elasticsearch) and messaging systems (Solace, Kafka).
  • Knowledge of monitoring/observability tools (ELK, Prometheus, Grafana).
  • Scripting skills in Bash, Python, or Go.
  • Linux system administration and networking fundamentals.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) integrated with OpenShift.
  • Understanding of microservices, service mesh (e.g., Istio), and GitOps (ArgoCD).
  • Exposure to performance testing, load balancing, and capacity planning.
  • Kubernetes, OpenShift, or HashiCorp Vault certifications.

Responsibilities:

  • Automate provisioning, configuration, and deployment using Terraform, Ansible, or Helm.
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Tekton) for applications and services.
  • Ensure reliable, zero-downtime deployments and scalable platform operations.
  • Implement security practices including Vault integration, RBAC, SAST/DAST scanning, and patch management.
  • Set up monitoring, alerting, and dashboards for proactive performance management.
  • Collaborate with development teams to support CI/CD, testing, and environment readiness.
  • Troubleshoot issues across infrastructure, networking, CI/CD, and application layers.
  • Contribute to architecture discussions, documentation, and best practices for automation, observability, and reliability.
