Lead Engineer
Job description:
We are seeking a Lead Engineer to help shape and deliver a new private cloud platform that enables customers to independently manage their cloud services. In this role, you will define technical direction, establish best practices, and guide the development of a scalable, enterprise-grade cloud stack from an early stage.
Requirements:
- Strong experience in backend development; frontend experience is a plus.
- Hands-on knowledge of Kubernetes, ideally with OpenShift.
- Experience with GitOps workflows and practices.
- Proficiency in Go.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (any language or tool) is a strong advantage.
- Proven ability to lead by example, drive quality, and support team growth.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the technical design and development of a private cloud platform, including customer-facing interfaces, infrastructure automation, and operational components.
- Set engineering standards and promote best practices across the platform.
- Apply DevSecOps principles to ensure security, reliability, and compliance.
- Make architectural and technical decisions while mentoring and coaching team members.
- Build and operate critical, production-ready services.
