Network Engineer
Job description:
We are looking for an experienced L3 Network Engineer to support, operate, and enhance complex enterprise network environments. In this role, you will be responsible for day-to-day operations, lifecycle management, and continuous improvement of network infrastructure in a dynamic and technically challenging setting.

Required Skills & Experience
Technical:
- Strong knowledge of data center LAN technologies, including switching, routing, and security.
- Hands-on experience with routing protocols such as ISIS, MP-BGP, EVPN, and L3VPN.
- Experience with Cisco Nexus and Catalyst platforms.
- Familiarity with Juniper technologies, including SRX firewalls, is a plus.
- Experience with virtual networking solutions (e.g. VMware NSX) and network automation tools is advantageous.
- Relevant certifications such as CCNP-DC or JNCIP-DC are beneficial.
Personal:
- Proactive, solution-oriented, and eager to learn.
- Strong collaboration skills and a team-focused mindset.
- Good command of the Dutch language (minimum B2); native-level Dutch is a plus.
- Dutch citizenship is an advantage.
Responsibilities:
- Perform lifecycle management and maintenance of network hardware and software.
- Provide L2/L3 operational support and resolve complex network incidents.
- Monitor network performance and availability, including automated processes.
- Create and maintain network documentation such as diagrams, configurations, and procedures.
- Contribute to the optimization and evolution of network services and processes.
